About The Family Business News Network, Our Content, and How To Contact Us
The original premise of www.FBNews.net, put together in 1999, was to offer the widest range of resources possible for owners, operators, and managers of family owned companies and farms.
Finally it is all coming together, largely because of the research of one of my colleagues into strategies and tools we can use to achieve our objectives.
We are happy to share these techniques with you, maybe something you see will ring a bell and be the missing link in your quest to make the most out of your Internet presence.
Over the years most of the legitimate contacts we've received were people looking for a specific type of article or an article on particular subject.
Here is a link to just exactly how we are harnessing the immense power of the Internet in a way that is currently generating 75% of our new business.
We created this single about/contact us page and linked it across the two dozen sites that make up the Family Business News network of resources, the links to which are in the navigation bar to your left.

If you have a specific question or comment regarding the web sites that are part of our consortium send me an email with your question, comment, or observation. Please be as specific as possible. That will help me address the issue more directly the first time.
Send your email to info@FBNews.net. You will have to copy/paste the address into your email client. Since we removed 'clickable' addresses wherever possible computer generated email has been virtually eliminated.
When we created this family of web sites we sought articles written by others that would help us tell the story of the resources we are showcasing. These articles proved to be
unsatisfactory for our purposes because they were inevitably written by someone who was selling something.
Our web sites are advertiser supported so it doesn't really make sense to provide free leads in exchange for content, rather than rewarding the individuals and companies who are paying for the exposure to our readers and web site visitors.
Because I have ghost written several books and over 100 articles on small business, management, workplace conflict resolution, and other subjects related to our websites's objectives - it made sense for me to write them all.
Needless to say this will take a fair amount of time, so articles contributed by others will be on our sites for a while yet.
Ultimately each member of our family of web sites will be converted to 90% Family Business News' staff content. It will never be 100% since there are issues I do not feel I can report on authoritatively.
I am using special software, described on the Internet Control Panel to customize these previously written articles so they will be both unique and original - and so I won't violate my ghost writing contracts. If you see an expression here or there that sounds familiar, that's the reason.
