What is a good school to go to for Massage Therapy and Business?
I want to own my own Spa Resort and I needed some help picking a school. I want to move to the Norfolk, VA beach, Newport News area and attend college. I would like to take Business Management classes along with Massage Therapy classes. Possibly having a double major.
You chose the right area, Massage Therapists are in a great demand in the Norfolk area. There are quite a few massage schools in Virginia. If you would like a list of massage schools in virginia check out Massage Register. You can find colleges by state and zip search. You can then request for FREE information from the schools listed about massage therapy and business and decide from there.

You will probably have to take each program at different schools. Most massage programs are 500 hours of technical school, although a few junior colleges in the US do offer an associates degree. I am not aware of any junior colleges that offer massage in the Norfolk/VA Beach area.
The best business programs are offered at traditional colleges. Technical schools that offer business degrees are of poor quality and WAY overpriced.
If you go to a technical school you don’t have majors and can’t take more than one program of study at a time. You spend all day studying a single program instead of enrolling in individual classes like you do at a college.
