Financial Media Producer Naresh Vissa Balances Books and Business
Marlei Martinez of NCC News gives an inside look at Syracuse University student Naresh Vissa’s routine as a financial radio producer for CNN Radio. Naresh majors in Finance, Accounting and Broadcast Journalism at the Martin J. Whitman School of Management and S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications. He produces and during summer 2009, co-hosted one of the top-rated financial talk shows in the Dallas/Fort Worth area, The Wall Street Shuffle. As producer, he books guests everyday and seeks media and business development opportunities to increase branding and overall listenership. Regular guests include Congressman Ron Paul, CNN Chief Business Correspondent Ali Velshi, Senate candidate Peter Schiff and Girls Gone Wild Founder Joe Francis. With more than a years worth of experience producing more than five business shows at the BizRadio Network and CNN Radio, Naresh has booked more than 400 guests in the fields of finance, economics, business management & consulting, self-help, leadership, sales and marketing.
