AMC Int’l News – AMC opens ASAN-KAIST Medical Management Program

AMC has opened a professional medical management program with KAIST, which owns the best management education know-how in Korea, in order to develop and nurture global leaders in medical management.
The entrance ceremony for the Asan-KAIST Medical Management Program was held at KAIST Business School with the attendance of Lee Jung-shin, president of Asan Medical Center, and Ravi Kumar, Dean of KAIST Business School.
This 8-week, 111-hour program was designed for qualified doctors, nurses and administrative employees. Among those with the rank of assistant professor or higher and those with at least five years of work experience, total of 35 students were finally chosen through a strict selection process.
The Asan-KAIST Medical Management Program covers core subjects of an MBA program such as Management Strategy, Organizational Management, Accounting and Marketing to help students gain a better understanding of medical management and put what they learn into practice.
KAIST Business School plans to award students with good academic results in accordance with strict evaluation criteria such as class participation and academic performance by subject.
