Indiana Tech opens second Kentucky campus
The College of Professional Studies at Indiana Tech will soon be offering classes at a location in Northern Kentucky. It will be the college's second Kentucky campus. Donald Yacktman, founder, president and co-chief investment officer of Austin, Texas-based Yacktman Asset Management Co., has worked in the investment business for years and heard investment strategies described in many ways. But he?s never heard anyone say he buys overpriced securities, which is what many end up doing anyway. Former Tennessee Commerce CFO joins First Federal
The former CFO of a troubled bank recently purchased by Louisville-based Republic Bancorp Inc. has been named CFO of Elizabethtown-based First Financial Service Corp. as part of a management shakeup. Kentucky unemployment drops to 8.3 percent

Ford is taking orders for C-MAX hybrid

St. Louis Fed president: Fed doing enough
The Federal Reserve is doing enough to boost the economy, said James Bullard, president of the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis, in a speech Wednesday at The Olmsted.
