Jawa settles lawsuit with VerizonJawa and founder Jason Hope have settled a lawsuit with Verizon Wireless regarding claims the premium texting service company was violating the carrier?s terms for businesses.

Westar Energy?s Green Team is set to install a 2.4-kilowatt wind turbine at Halstead High School.
The turbine will be located on the northwest corner of the front side of the high school, at 520 W. Sixth in Halstead.

The Wichita Business Journal reports the casino began operating in Mulvane in December, but additional phases, including a hotel, a larger casino and an equestrian facility, remain in the works. The fee will go to $5 if customers are willing to get online instead of paper statements.

Wells Fargo (NYSE:WFC) asked a federal appeals court to throw out the judgment, saying the lawsuit claims are preempted by federal banking law.
