Brown & Brown Inc. acquired certain assets of Insurcorp and Maalouf Benefit Resources of Las Vegas, which recently combined under the Insurcorp name.
Insurcorp provides employee benefits retail brokerage and consulting services to employers in Nevada and surrounding states, and has annual revenue of $5 million.

Bank of America sells some branches to trim costs

According to BofA?s first-quarter filing with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission on May 3, the banking giant closed 154 banking centers and 631 ATMs during the first quarter.
