Rooibee Red Tea secures more funding through stock issue

Kentucky unemployment drops to 8.3 percent

Vineyard Vines makes Summit opening official
Vineyard Vines has signed a lease with Bayer Properties for a location in The Summit between L?Occitane and Brooks Brothers. The lease for the 3,800-square-feet property was effective as of May 9 and the projected opening date is late summer or early fall. Vineyard Vines is an upscale clothing retailer catering to young men and women, but with a focus on men?s neckwear. A Bayer Properties manager would not disclose the lease amount. Alabama foreclosures slip in April
April foreclosure filings have fallen each year since 2010 in Alabama, but a new report shows the trend is now leveling off. Combined bank foreclosure and auction filings decreased 2 percent to 1,803 in April from 1,840 in the same month of 2011, according to the latest monthly report from foreclosure tracking firm RealtyTrac. Of those filings, 650 were bank foreclosures and 1,153 were for auctions. Birmingham lost 1,200 jobs over past year
Birmingham was one of 13 major metro areas that lost jobs between March 2011 and March 2012, according to a new report from On Numbers. The area lost 1,200 jobs over the 12-month period. That 0.25 percent drop ranked 92nd among the nation's 100 largest metro areas, based on the data from the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics.
