Hecker moved to his fourth prison since February, and may move again

MN lost jobs in April, unemployment back to 5.6 percent

The state also reported that Minnesota's annual job growth rate was less than half of that nationwide. The Minnesota Department of Employment and Economic Development (DEED) reported Thursday that the state's seasonally-adjusted jobless rate fell to 5.6 percent. It had fallen to 5.6 percent in January, then rose in February and March to 5.8 percent. Sun Country offers flights to new destinations

Caribe owners try Kickstarter to relaunch restaurant

Report: Sprint?s Kansas City-area download speeds lag since August
Sprint Nextel Corp. not only has lost its status as the Kansas City market leader for average download speeds, the Overland Park-based wireless carrier?s speeds have slowed down since August, according to a study released Thursday. RootMetrics, a Seattle-based service that measures consumer mobile experiences, performed ?thousands? of speed, reliability and quality tests for data, text messages and calls in Kansas City between April 24 and April 30.
